What is it? Vetraceuticals is a Pet health supplement designed to “put back into” dog food all the things that are missing. It contains essential ingredients, enzymes, probiotics, antioxidants, green foods, vitamins, minerals, and more. Administered in a powdered form, pet owners simply put one scoop a day onto their pets food.
What can it do for my pet? While we would hope to see nothing happen (We consider Vetraceuticals to be a preventative for future problems with your pet) we have seen some wonderful results with the use of the product. Some of the dogs we’ve had on it have shown better skin and coat, less problems with allergies, better breath, better weight maintenance, improved digestion, less stool volume (and less foul smell in stools), lessened joint problems, and in some cases even enhanced behavior (less skittish and a more even keel energy level). Our own dogs have shown improvement in the volume of food needed to maintain their weight. These are just some of the things we’ve seen. We consider it to be the “best health insurance for pets” on the market today.
Who was it designed by? Renowned Veterinarian Dr. Christiann Schelling DVM (known among cat crowds for her work against cat de-clawing and for “soft claws”) worked together with a top pet nutritionist to find JUST the right formulas.
What is the three formula system? Dogs and cats (and even humans) do not require all of the same nutrients every day. Some nutrients fed daily over time can cause toxic build up. Dr. Schelling DVM has found a way to avoid over supplementation by creating this system. Done on an auto-ship program, each month clients receive a bottle of that months current formula. There are 3 formulas (A, B, and C) each with a 30 day supply. Clients receive formula A the first month, Formula B the second month, and formula C the third month, and then they start over. While the base ingredients (enzymes, probiotics etc) remains the same in all 3 formulas, the ingredients that should not be received every day, are rotated through the formulas. This ensures a synergistic effect on the dogs health. We love it because it provides a “balance over time” effect without the worries of over supplementing.
Why is Vetraceuticals done on an auto-ship program? This is done for a number of reasons. One of the main ones is to ensure product freshness. The product is manufactured and then cared for in a controlled environment. Then it is shipped directly to the customer. This prevents it from sitting on a shelf somewhere, which is particularly important for quality control as it contains live enzymes. When the customer receives the product, they are instructed to refrigerate the product upon opening. Since there is only a 1 month supply until the next formula comes, this also ensures the freshness of the product.
Since Vetraceuticals is meant to be a health system and not just a supplement, it also ensures that the client always has the product on hand without having to remember to go to the store each month for it.
How much does it cost? This depends on the size of your pet, at most about a dollar a day. It’s about a dollar a day for a large dog for the chance to achieve better health and longevity. Yet with many dogs you can save so much more in dog food and vet bills.
What if I have multiple dogs or cats? You receive 25% off each pet after the first one. And, they discount the MORE EXPENSIVE one. So for instance, if you have a german shepherd and a chihuahua, you receive the 25% off the German Shepherd. Why do they do it this way? Because they care about the animals and they care about the people that own them.
Is there a referral rewards program? Yes, for every animal customers refer to the product that stay on the product for a full 3 month cycle, the referring customer receives 1 month free. This means that if you refer someone with 3 dogs to the product, and those dogs all stay on the product for a minimum of 3 months, you will receive 3 months of the product free!
My dog has a medical condition, will this interact poorly with meds? Not likely but if there’s any questions whatsoever, it’s best to talk with your veterinarian. If they have questions about the product, the company is always willing to help answer any questions they may have. In fact in many situations, we’ve seen the product HELP with problems.
Thank you for posting up some great information about Vetraceuticals. My dogs have been on the formulas for just over a year and have done exceptionally well. I cannot recommend Vetraceuticals highly enough.
